On Friday, September 9th, the long-awaited (and very belated) release party for Immortal: 60 #2 is upon us. With gorgeous color art by J.C. Grande, the second issue concludes John Reinhardt's quest to thwart the Earth's annihilation at the hands of a wicked mother goddess--but at what cost?

The evening will feature performances by Metropolis Records' Bella Morte and the Ludovico Technique, along with New Orleans's own Suicide Assyst, and DJs Tarnish and LostTwistedSoul of Baton Rouge's the Chamber.

On Saturday, July 9, 2011, experience Fangtasia--a dance night of bloodsucking beats and vampiric rock n' roll. Joining Jyrki is Bad Things' DJ Fangpimp and his Vampsta Bitchez, along with a special DJ battle between the Chamber's Torrent Vaccine and DJ Flyhaed. Rounding out the evening's entertainment is a Goth-girl DJ fight you won't want to miss, as Lucifera takes on Stitch of Suicide Assyst.

Vampire fangs will be made on premises by Dark Awakenings--New Orleans's premiere fangsmith!

Doors open at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9th at 1135 Decatur in New Orleans, LA.

Before Fangtasia begins, the Helsinki Vampire will accompany a special VIP walking tour, as attendees learn about the city's long history of hauntings and vampiric activity. John Reinhardt, the Angel of Death, has located Raven D'Arc--the young woman who may take his place and prevent the end of the world. But, the vengeful mother goddess plots the cycle of creation and destruction. With his three brethren Scourges dispatched to Earth to stop him, Reinhardt and his reluctant apprentice race to the jungles of Guatemala in search of a legendary lake. If they reach it in time--and at the right time--an arcane ritual once performed over 400 years ago may save the world. But, the seeds of doubt grow in young Raven's mind, and may prove to be Reinhardt's--and the world's--undoing.
